At Super Stars Dance, we bring the joy of dance to your children. Our dance instructors are highly trained and have years of experience teaching the art of movement. We strive to have each child leave our classes feeling happy and confident every week.
In addition, all our employees are CPR certified and have undergone a thorough background check.

Miss Catherine | Lead Teacher, Owner & Director

Miss Cat studied and danced at the Margo Marshall School of Ballet for 12 years and the Vero Classical Ballet in Florida. Took many workshops over her years with profesionally trained instructors and extremely well known dancers. She has performed any many productions of the Nutcraker In Houston and Galveston. Growing up she was on her schools praiseDance team and She was also on her Highschool cheer Team, Dance team and took gymnastics. Her dance teaching career includes the Little Gym Activities for Kids and She started teaching for Super Stars Dance when she was 14 years old and has taken over Super Stars Dance as the owner/Director since Susan Bates passing.She has also taught for Donna Smith with A time to dance.
She has taken many child development classes, studied business and liberal arts and is CPR certified as well as takes all of the training courses each school requires!

Dance is what fills my soul and makes me come alive. I have always believed in creating a community of people who love the power of movement as much as I do, and this is my main goal as a dedicated Dance Instructor. I want each and every one of my students to leave my classes feeling energized and joyful.
I plan to continue Susan's Legacy and make her proud of the company she built!
Miss Jasmine | Lead Teacher

Jasmine Lopez started her dancing experience at the young age of four with flamenco performances in Pre-School. Shortly after, she attended a dance studio and trained in ballet for a few years while participating in Dance at her elementary school. Continuing her education at Meyerland Performing and Visual Arts Middle School, she trained in tap and pointe. At fourteen years old, she attended Dancescape by Joyce to continue studying pointe in high school. Jasmine attended San Jacinto College to receive an Associates in Fine Arts for Dance and plans to attend St. Thomas to earn a Master's in Dance. She has been teaching with Super Stars for two years, and she was the perfect addition to our company. Jasmine loves to choreograph and take dance classes to learn different dancing styles or techniques in her free time. She has also attended Penny Prima classes and is certified with all of our schools to properly give each facility and class the professional and fun environment students need to prosper. Jasmine is CPR, First Aid and AED certified for children and adults.
As a dance instructor, I can't think of anything else that brings me joy other than the art of Dance. I love working with students of all ages and backgrounds and feel fortunate to see how they grow and develop their skills. I'm so excited to share my technique and style with your little dancers.
Miss Kristan | Teacher

Miss Kristan, an experienced dancer and teacher. She is passionate about helping our students find their inner star through dance. Miss Kristan has been a dancer since she was young and Continues to study ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She is CPR certified and has taken all the training courses that the schools require. Miss Kristan loves dancing and being in the classroom with the kids.
She strives to provide a safe, fun, and energetic atmosphere for our students to learn, grow, and express themselves.
Miss Kaytee| Teacher

Miss Kaytee began her dance training at the age of three. She spent her childhood training at
various studios around Beaumont, TX. Miss Kaytee is a passionate Houston-based dancer and instructor with a BFA in Dance from the University of Houston. With a strong foundation in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, drill, and contemporary, she brings both technical skill and dynamic energy to every performance and class. During her time at UH, Kaytee was a proud three-year member—and two-year head captain—of the university's dance team. Go Coogs! She is currently completing her second season as a professional dancer with Ice Cube’s BIG3 league, continuing to share her love of movement on a national stage. Miss Kaytee continued her training in high school with the
Radio City Rockettes, Joffrey Ballet School, and various other intensives. She pursued her
passion for ballet with the pre-professional contemporary ballet company, Revelations, as a
Principal dancer for three seasons, playing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker for
two of the three seasons. Her collegiate performance
credits include 50 Cent, Lil Keke at the Houston Texans New Year Game Halftime, all home
university football and basketball games, and various March Madness tournament appearances.
Miss Kaytee began teaching dance at the age of 15 and has continued spreading her love for
movement with children all over the state of Texas. She is CPR and AED certified to ensure a
safe environment for all who enter the classroom.
Ms. Zoe Rutzen| Teacher

Meet Zoe, a passionate dancer from Houston, TX. She has been dancing since 7th grade. She has been part of her middle school dance team and high school drill team Where she learned not only a passion and love for Dance but also how to take Charge of a Team/Group setting. In her senior year, she was honored to be the Lt. and had the best time. Zoe loves working with kids and putting a smile on their face. She has a passion for sharing her love of Dance to Children and is excited for the opportunity to teach your children Ballet, Tap & Jazz! She is CPR Certified and has completed Child Sanctuary safe training courses.
Miss Emily| Helper

Miss Emily has been passionate about dance since childhood, where she quickly developed a love for movement and expression. As a helpful and dedicated team member at Super Stars Dance, Emily supports the daily operations and assists with classes, rehearsals, and events. With a genuine enthusiasm for the art and care for children, she brings a positive, energetic presence to the company, ensuring everything runs smoothly and helping both students and staff thrive.
Miss Jennifer | Helper

Miss Jennifer is committed to providing quality Help during our classes and to all children to help them reach their fullest potential Miss Jennifer brings a wealth of enthusiasm and expertise to the classes. Miss Jennifer is a huge blessing to have on our team as one of our helpers, she enjoys spending time with the children and watching the joy that dance brings to them.
Miss Cassandra| Teacher

Cassandra has been a lifelong performer with a background primarily in musical theatre. She spent most of her school career singing & dancing with her school’s show choir as well as performing in plays & musicals. Her dance foundation began to take shape when she took dance as an elective in middle school, opening up her exposure to the world of dance as an art form that continued on into high school. She began to take classes with friends at Ballet Austin & Balance studios where she nurtured a passion for it while also working as a child caregiver. Cassandra has since worked as a Walt Disney World Cast Member in Entertainment & Operations. She also recently graduated with an Associates Degree in Dance from Austin Community College where she trained in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, somatic movement & more. Dance has become a form of therapy & a source of grounding for her. With a newfound perspective on the power of dance in accordance with the body & mind, she hopes to guide young dancers to utilize dance as a tool for life. CPR, First Aid & AED certified.
Miss Shelby | Teacher

Miss Shelby has been in and out of just about every dance class growing up! She has a huge passion for Ballet and Tape but has learned lyrical, Drill, Jazz and Hip Hop over the years as well. She Just recently moved to Texas from arizona where she taught in Dance Studios, worked at YMCA and helped in daycares and in the summer she worked as a summer camp counselor she is so excited to bring her passion of ballet, tap, and jazz to these classrooms she will be teaching in
Miss Brianna | Teacher

Brianna has had a love for dance and gymnastics for as long as she can remember. She began working with kids at just 11 years old—whether it was babysitting, volunteering, or helping out at local programs, she was always drawn to the energy, creativity, and joy that kids bring. In 2016, she officially started teaching dance, and by 2021, she had stepped into the world of coaching gymnastics. It’s been a fun and fulfilling journey, and she feels lucky every day to share her passions in a way that helps kids learn, grow, and shine.
Brianna is CPR, First Aid, and AED certified, and she studied Instruction and Curriculum at Texas State University, specializing in working with children with autism and intellectual disabilities. She’s passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every child feels seen, celebrated, and excited to be themselves.
What Brianna loves most about coaching isn’t just the cartwheels or pirouettes (although those are pretty cool!)—it’s the smiles, the little victories, and the confidence that builds with every class. Her goal is always to create a space where kids feel safe, supported, and eager to try new things. Whether a child is just starting out or already flipping around the house, Brianna is ready to cheer them on every step of the way!
Miss Leo | Teacher

Leo Coombs is a student at the University of Houston. She has been teaching dance classes in the genres of hip hop, contemporary, ballet, and jazz for the last three years. Leo also has many years of experience in all styles of dance, both recreationally and competitively, and continues to train in hip hop, contemporary, jazz, and ballet. Her favorite thing about dance is the ability to express emotion and musicality through our own bodies. She strives to create well rounded dancers that are passionate, creative, and confident in themselves!
Mrs. Pete| Helper

Miss Pete is Miss Cats Amazing Mother, Who she owes her entire Dancing career to. she is always there to lend a hand and provide the extra assistance that every dancer needs. With her past professional experience as a teacher, special ed teacher, and art teacher, Miss Pete is a valuable asset to the Super Stars Dance team. The children bring her so much Joy every week.
Mrs Kayla | Helper

Mrs. Kayla brings an amazing background in dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics to our company. She has worked with Super Stars Dance on and off over the years and highly enjoys coming to classes every week to help with all of the dancers. She truly cares about the development of our dancers both in and out of class and her Goal is to help create a welcoming and safe Class for your Dancers
Miss Katy| Helper

Miss Katy Is Catherines Older sister, You will find her Being extra help in our Dance classes if a child needs their shoe tied or needs a little confidence boost when Dancing. Miss Katy has always loved to Dance and She Loves Children as much as they love her. She has been a teachers assistant in many schools, Camp Counselors and back home she goes by the name "Nanny Kate" If you see her in the classroom during pick up, Be sure to say Hi.... She will make your entire week better!
