Miss Cat studied and danced at the Margo Marshall School of Ballet for 12 years and the Vero Classical Ballet in Florida. Took many workshops over her years with profesionally trained instructors and extremely well known dancers. She has performed any many productions of the Nutcraker In Houston and Galveston. Growing up she was on her schools praiseDance team and She was also on her Highschool cheer Team, Dance team and took gymnastics. Her dance teaching career includes the Little Gym Activities for Kids and She started teaching for Super Stars Dance when she was 14 years old and has taken over Super Stars Dance as the owner/Director since Susan Bates passing.She has also taught for Donna Smith with A time to dance. 

She has taken many child development classes, studied business and liberal arts and is CPR certified as well as takes all of the training courses each school requires!

Dance is what fills my soul and makes me come alive. I have always believed in creating a community of people who love the power of movement as much as I do, and this is my main goal as a dedicated Dance Instructor. I want each and every one of my students to leave my classes feeling energized and joyful.

I plan to continue Susan's Legacy and make her proud of the company she built!

KoKo so excited to be joining the Super Stars Dance family! Dance and movement have been such a meaningful part of her life, and she is passionate about creating spaces where young dancers feel confident, encouraged, and free to be themselves. With a background in dance instruction, choreography, athletic development, conditioning, and wellness, She loves helping students build strong movement foundations while discovering the joy and creativity that dance brings. Most importantly, She wants every dancer to feel seen, celebrated, and empowered to shine both in and out of the studio. She is so excited to share her love of dance, movement, and faith with our Super Stars and make lots of fun memories along the way!

Miss Kristan, an experienced dancer and teacher. She is passionate about helping our students find their inner star through dance. Miss Kristan has been a dancer since she was young and Continues to study ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She is CPR certified and has taken all the training courses that the schools require. Miss Kristan loves dancing and being in the classroom with the kids.
She strives to provide a safe, fun, and energetic atmosphere for our students to learn, grow, and express themselves.

Miss Kaytee began her dance training at the age of three. She spent her childhood training at
various studios around Beaumont, TX.  Miss Kaytee is a passionate Houston-based dancer and instructor with a BFA in Dance from the University of Houston. With a strong foundation in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, drill, and contemporary, she brings both technical skill and dynamic energy to every performance and class. During her time at UH, Kaytee was a proud three-year member—and two-year head captain—of the university's dance team. Go Coogs! She is currently completing her second season as a professional dancer with Ice Cube’s BIG3 league, continuing to share her love of movement on a national stage.  Miss Kaytee continued her training in high school with the
Radio City Rockettes, Joffrey Ballet School, and various other intensives. She pursued her
passion for ballet with the pre-professional contemporary ballet company, Revelations, as a
Principal dancer for three seasons, playing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker for
two of the three seasons. Her collegiate performance
credits include 50 Cent, Lil Keke at the Houston Texans New Year Game Halftime, all home
university football and basketball games, and various March Madness tournament appearances.
Miss Kaytee began teaching dance at the age of 15 and has continued spreading her love for
movement with children all over the state of Texas. She is CPR and AED certified to ensure a
safe environment for all who enter the classroom.

Miss Selena has a passion for dance and a love for working with children. She has experience in dance training, with a background in ballet, tap, jazz, and creative movement, and brings a fun, energetic spirit into every class. She believes dance should be a place where children feel confident, encouraged, and excited to learn. As a teacher and classroom helper, Miss Selena will be there to help our little dancers learn new steps, practice their skills, follow along with class activities, and—most importantly—have FUN! She is especially wonderful at encouraging shy dancers, helping students who may need a little extra support, and celebrating every child’s progress. She is CPR Certified, First Aid Certified and has children's Ministry Training

Miss Emily has been passionate about dance since childhood, where she quickly developed a love for movement and expression. As a helpful and dedicated team member at Super Stars Dance, Emily supports the daily operations and assists with classes, rehearsals, and events. Miss Emily has a background in Ballet, tap, Jazz and creative movement. With a genuine enthusiasm for the art and care for children, she brings a positive, energetic presence to the company, ensuring everything runs smoothly and helping both students and staff thrive. She is CPR/First Aid Certified, Ministry safe sanctuary Certified.

Miss Jocelyn is from Navasota Tx, she started dancing at the age of 7 doing recreational ballet and technique, when she turned 9 she started dancing competitively with Expressions Dance and Music company located in College station. she also joined  middle school drill team and transitioned to do high school drill team for three years called the Navasota Diamondettes. Wrapping up her senior year of highschool she signed with the Blinn Treasures Dance team to dance competitively in college. she competed at NDA Nationals in Daytona from 2021-2023 where she became a pom national champion in 2023. Shortly after my two years with Blinn college she transferred to the University of Houston to pursue  dance career as a team member. In 2024-2025 she was named social president and choreography captain for the Cougar Dolls in the University of Houston. In 2025-2026 she was named as one of the captains serving her senior year. she has attended many events such as dancing with the Houston Texans Cheerleaders for New Year’s Eve , appeared on the News, local Houston parades, attended men’s tournaments during March madness, attended bowl games for the Houston football team, supported the houston community through non profit organizations and much more!  she also started her own Choreography business in 2023 where I choreograph for dancers, and teams across Texas in hopes to expand across the United States. She is currently serving her last semester at the University of Houston and looks forward to being a full time dance teacher and keep choreographing for dancers and teams.

Cassandra has been a lifelong performer with a background primarily in musical theatre. She spent most of her school career singing & dancing with her school’s show choir as well as performing in plays & musicals. Her dance foundation began to take shape when she took dance as an elective in middle school, opening up her exposure to the world of dance as an art form that continued on into high school. She began to take classes with friends at Ballet Austin & Balance studios where she nurtured a passion for it while also working as a child caregiver. Cassandra has since worked as a Walt Disney World Cast Member in Entertainment & Operations. She also recently graduated with an Associates Degree in Dance from Austin Community College where she trained in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, somatic movement & more. Dance has become a form of therapy & a source of grounding for her. With a newfound perspective on the power of dance in accordance with the body & mind, she hopes to guide young dancers to utilize dance as a tool for life. CPR, First Aid & AED certified. 

Miss Miranda Has  been with Super Starts Dance for 5 summers now Working with us in our Summer camps leading into classes! She is currently a Sophemore at Texas State University striking Theater Education. She was heavily involved in Theater all through out Middle School and High School and trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and MY Jazz with Suzanne’ Semans Dance Studio, Broadway Dance Lab and Invicta Arts and Training in Houston! She has been working in child care since the age of 14 with babysitting, being a camp counselor, vocal teacher and dance teacher! Her goal is to ensure a safe and positive learning environment For all of the Dancers. She is Safe sanctuary trained and CPR/First aid certified. 

Leigh Simmons joins SSD this Fall after selling her own dance studio in central Austin in 2025. 

Leigh began dancing at seven years old, and started teaching when she was only 15. She continued teaching through high school and college, and taught in the evenings while she was a young advertising professional. She performed semi-professional and professional roles, in commercials and industrial videos. She received the (Joe) Tremaine Scholarship in 1984. She has studied tap with Frances Lea, Gracie Tune, Larry Howard, Ayodele Cassel, Avi Miller and Ofer Ben, and Laurie Johnson. She studied ballet with Gayle Corkery, Letitia Gray, Frances Lea, Margo Dean among others; and jazz with Bruce Lea,  Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, Liz Imperio, Marcea Lane, Voight Kempson, Mandy Moore and Brian Friedman among several others. 

At her Austin studio, Leigh produced and coordinated the Nutcracker Petite, a competition dance team program, an annual spring ballet and a summer program including classes, week-long intensives, and camps for younger dancers. She truly enjoys teaching preschoolers, and can’t wait to meet all of her new students! Leigh is CPR/FIRST AID certified!

Leo Coombs is a student at the University of Houston. She has been teaching dance classes in the genres of hip hop, contemporary, ballet, and jazz for the last three years. Leo also has many years of experience in all styles of dance, both recreationally and competitively, and continues to train in hip hop, contemporary, jazz, and ballet. Her favorite thing about dance is the ability to express emotion and musicality through our own bodies. She strives to create well rounded dancers that are passionate, creative, and confident in themselves!

Miss Pete is Miss Cats Amazing Mother, Who she owes her entire Dancing career to. she  is always there to lend a hand and provide the extra assistance that every dancer needs. With her past professional experience as a teacher, special ed teacher, and art teacher, Miss Pete is a valuable asset to the Super Stars Dance team. The children bring her so much Joy every week.

From dancing on the coffee table at age 2 to teaching the next generation of tiny (and not-so-tiny) dancers, dance has been a huge part of her life for as long as she can remember! She started ballet and tap at 3 years old, then eventually traded my tap shoes for jazz, lyrical, and

hip-hop at Fusion Dance Studio (later known as Premier). She also spent her school years doing drill. Dance has always been more than just steps and choreography to her. It’s confidence, creativity, self-expression, friendship, and, honestly, a really fun excuse to be a little silly. She loves creating an environment where dancers can feel comfortable being themselves while learning,

growing, and having a blast.Now, She gets to share that love of dance with elementary and middle school dancers! Her goal is to help every student build confidence, learn new skills, find their own style, and most importantly, leave class smiling. She can’t wait to dance, laugh, learn, and make some amazing memories together

.

Miss Katy Is Catherines Older sister, You will find her Being extra help in our Dance classes if a child needs their shoe tied or needs a little confidence boost when Dancing. Miss Katy has always loved to Dance and She Loves Children as much as they love her. She has been a teachers assistant in many schools, Camp Counselors and back home she goes by the name "Nanny Kate" If you see her in the classroom during pick up, Be sure to say Hi.... She will make your entire week better!

Jah is one of our Class Helpers, she is a professional photographer with more than 10 years of experience, specializing in newborn, children, and family photography. Working with children has always been one of her favorite parts of what she does. She loves getting to know their different personalities and helping them feel comfortable and confident.

She is also a mom and truly enjoys working with children and being part of a fun, positive environment. She loves seeing their personalities come through, watching them learn new things, and encouraging them along the way.
